Responsibilities:

• Trend Spotting: Stay attuned to the ever-evolving world of fashion and beauty, bringing fresh insights and innovative perspectives to Aura's readership.


• Collaboration: Work closely with the editorial team to ensure content aligns with Aura's unique voice and style, contributing to the magazine's overall aesthetic and messaging.


• Interviews and Profiles: Conduct interviews with fashion designers, beauty experts, and influencers to create captivating profiles and features that resonate with Aura's audience.


• Editing and Proofreading: Review and refine content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency with Aura Magazine's editorial standards.


• Social Media Integration: Collaborate with our social media team to create content that complements and enhances Aura Magazine's online presence.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in journalism, English, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).


• Proven experience as a Fashion and Beauty Writer, with a portfolio showcasing your ability to create compelling and trendsetting content.


• A deep passion for fashion and beauty, with a keen eye for emerging trends and a commitment to celebrating diversity.


• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a distinctive voice that aligns with Aura Magazine's style.


• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a part-time capacity, with a commitment to contributing fresh and engaging content consistently.


• Familiarity with SEO best practices and an understanding of how to optimize content for online platforms.


• Proficiency in social media platforms and an understanding of their role in amplifying content.
