Advising on and influencing food and health policies for in-patients and out-patients.
Providing training and guidance for junior dietetic colleagues.
Consultation with patients.
Writing detailed case notes and reports.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of patient’s assessments and interventions.
Monitoring patients’ progress and adjusting diet plans as necessary.
Staying up to date regarding the latest developments and research in nutrition.
Promoting healthy eating habits and lifestyle choices through workshops, online sensitizations, virtual presentations and community engagement.
Ensure quality management procedures in the hospital kitchen.
Observe ward rounds.
Engage in virtual consultations.
Eligibility
Interested candidates must possess a recognized Degree or equivalent in Nutrition and Dietetics from a reputable University in Nigeria or abroad, with evidence of induction by the relevant Institutions.
Experience:
Must have at least one year work experience in clinical dietetics, excluding internship and NYSC trainings.
Must have experience in dietetics consultants without supervision.
Required Skills:
Ability to work with little or no supervision
Must have a good grasp of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, etc)
Use of EMR/EHR (Electronic medical record / electronic health record) is an added advantage.
Must have a good command of written and spoken English
Must be smart, good-looking, time-conscious and possesses good interpersonal relationship
