Responsibilities:

• Take responsibility for driving a clean and functional vehicle, regularly inspecting it and scheduling maintenance when needed.- Complete pre- and post-trip safety and operations checklists and documentation


• Transport assigned passengers or items to and from designated locations in a timely and safe manner while adhering to all traffic laws and company safety regulations


• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the local area and the most efficient routes.


• Refuel vehicles and make sure they are always ready for use.


• Represent the university in a positive and professional manner when interacting with customers and the public.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license


• Clean driving record for at least one year


• Ability to drive for extended periods


• Firm commitment to safety


• Excellent navigational skills


• Good communication and interpersonal skills


• Minimum academic qualification of Senior School Certificate


• Willingness to run night shifts when necessary
