Responsibilities

• Manage a team focused on operational, regulatory and reputation risks


• Ensure audits are well planned, executed and reported


• Reviewing Audit Projects


• Obtain and review background documentation, reference materials, and other relevant documents to help develop appropriate planning approach


• Identify key controls and potential business concern/error types

Qualification and Requirements

• Minimum of first degree in Accounting, an MBA is an added advantage


• Must have about 10 years post qualification as a chartered accountant


• Proven experience in performing similar assignments For a minimum of 5 years


• Sound knowledge of, Sage, Peach Tree accounting packages


• Exceptional communication and team member development skills


• Ability to exercise sound judgment, demonstrate professionalism and proactively escalate issues along with recommendations for successful resolution


• Knowledge of International Reporting Standards (IFRS) is an advantage
