- Counts store inventory for official store records.
- Maintain logs of all products and supplies.
- Keep up-to-date on store, shelves and order availability
- Check actual store inventory against computerized records.
- Report any discrepancies in inventory records to store manager.
- Receive store deliveries.
- Assist in unloading inventory from delivery truck.
- Organize inventory in stock room.
- Restock merchandise on sales floor as necessary.
- File all delivery and inventory receipts.
- Ensure that stock room is clean and well organized.
- Move and restructure organization of stockroom to make space for new inventory.
- Assist in cleaning and organizing the store upon closing.
- Retrieve products from stock room for customers.
- Review shipping and receiving documents for accuracy.
- Assist Inventory Manager on the sales floor in locating items.
- Assist Inventory manager in devising new ways to reduce shrink and maintain inventory control.
