  • Coordinate and participate in QHSE training programs

  • Coordinate and participate in OHSE audit and inspection programs

  • Monitor toolbox talks

  • Periodically schedule and attend monthly safety meetings and ensure follow up of items and concerns.

  • Manage the implementation of the QMS

  • Carry out daily reviews of current work practices on all locations

  • Monitor the performance of OHSE team and provide any expertise support as required

  • Identify and control work place hazards

  • Initiate and coordinate the investigation team in establishing the root cause of any incident, as necessary, to ensure that corrective and preventive actions have been established and implemented

  • Ensure safe systems of work are in place and ensure legal requirements for health and safety in Nigeria is maintained in the workplace

  • Investigate and respond proactively to health and safety concerns and incidents ensuring that recommendations are made and implemented following such investigations

  • Prepare, share and follow op on incident/accidents alerts and reports


Educational and Experience Requirements



  • B.Sc / HND from a recognised University with a minimum of 2.1 or Upper Credit in related field

  • 4-6 years of practical experiences with OHSE and OMS implementation

  • Industry standard Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety

  • Membership of a relevant professional body.
