As the Country Sales Operations Manager you will support the sales and whole commercial team in managing and growing business in line with the organizational strategy, goals, policies, and processes.


PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:



  • Supporting the commercial department in managing and growing accounts in line with the organizational strategy, goals, policies and processes.

  • Getting accurate, real-time visibility of Sales teams performance and pipeline size (revenue) through Salesforce.

  • Setting up individual quarterly targets (revenue) for Sales and providing the Sales leaders with the tools needed for constant performance management and coaching.

  • Preparing commercial budget (forecasting) for the terminals in collaboration with Finance.

  • Stay on top of business signals and guide the team to secure short- and long-term opportunities (strategic planning).

  • Streamlining, optimizing and continuously improving the sales processes with Lean tools to enable sales team productivity.

  • Handling sales data and reports through Salesforce and acting as country superuser for Salesforce.

  • Overall responsible for customers contracts.

  • Ensuring customer relationship management and Issue Resolution tools are updated on time and are of excellent quality.


WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:


CRITICAL KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE



  • Master’s degree in business, marketing, finance or related discipline.

  • Solid experience in a senior Sales operations management role, preferably in a global organization.

  • Salesforce.com superuser certification.

  • Keen business acumen.

  • Ability to problem solve. 

  • Ability to set strategic plans with short-term impact by maintaining standards that lead to high performance and execution.

  • Ability to lead important changes rapidly.

  • Ability to exchange and adapt skills when working together across functions.

  • Ability to sustain high activity and energy with a business-like approach to daily challenges.

  • Ability to identify and share best practices.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English).

  • Excellent stakeholder management both internally and externally, irrespective of seniority and role.

  • Analytical, organised, detail-oriented with admirable interpersonal skills. 

  • Knowledge in the shipping, container transport and delivery industry would be a plus.

  • Proven ability to exercise discretion and good judgment, with an ability to understand the effect of decisions overall in the company.

  • Ability to handle company information with confidentiality and discretion.

  • Proven ability to work in a matrix organization.
