Position Overview



  • We are seeking a dedicated and organized Design/Office Assistant to join our team. As a crucial member of our design team, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting various design projects and ensuring the smooth operation of our office. Responsibilities

Design Support:



  • Collaborate with the design team to assist in various aspects of design projects, including research, material sourcing, and concept development.

  • Create and maintain design files, ensuring they are organized and easily accessible for team members.

  • Assist in the preparation of design presentations and client proposals.


Office Management:



  • Oversee the organization and maintenance of the office environment, ensuring it is conducive to creative work.

  • Manage office supplies, inventory, and procurement, ensuring adequate stock levels.

  • Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and managing email correspondence.


Project Coordination:



  • Support project coordination activities, including liaising with clients, contractors, and vendors.

  • Assist in tracking project timelines, milestones, and budgets.

  • Coordinate deliveries, installations, and site visits as needed.


Team Collaboration:



  • Work closely with the design team to facilitate effective communication and project collaboration.

  • Assist team members with ad-hoc tasks and provide support during busy periods.


Requirements

Education and Experience:



  • A Degree in Interior Design, Design-related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Prior experience in a design or office assistant role is a plus.

  • 2 - 5 years work experience. 


Skills:



  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in design software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite) is advantageous.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Familiarity with office management software and tools.
