Job Summary:



  • As an Accountant specializing in Reconciliation and Treasury, you will be responsible for overseeing financial reconciliation processes and managing treasury functions.

  • You will ensure accuracy in financial records through meticulous reconciliation practices while handling the organization's treasury operations efficiently.


Responsibilities:



  • Conduct regular reconciliation of financial accounts, ensuring accuracy and consistency between internal records and external statements.

  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner, collaborating with relevant departments to rectify issues.

  • Manage cash flow by monitoring and forecasting cash positions to optimize liquidity needs.

  • Execute fund transfers, initiate payments, and oversee banking relationships to ensure efficient treasury operations.

  • Monitor and evaluate investment opportunities to maximize returns while minimizing risk.

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports related to reconciliation activities and treasury transactions for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Assist in the analysis of financial data, providing insights and recommendations for improving financial performance.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies governing financial reconciliation and treasury activities.

  • Assess and mitigate financial risks associated with treasury operations, implementing necessary controls and strategies.

  • Identify opportunities for process enhancement within reconciliation and treasury functions, implementing improvements to streamline operations and increase efficiency.


Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; ICAN or relevant certification is a plus.

  • Proven experience in financial reconciliation and treasury operations within a corporate setting.

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and treasury management techniques.

  • Proficiency in using financial software and tools for reconciliation and treasury functions.

  • Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to communicate financial information effectively and collaborate across departments.
