Job Description



  • Manage and arrange items properly in the storage facility upon supply.

  • Maintain and keep adequate record of all inventories kept in the store.

  • Maintaining company records and filing systems.

  • Ensure stock levels are maintained to avoid risk of stock-out.

  • Co-ordinate and keep communication with procurement, Cost control departments on all requisitions.

  • Review invoices thoroughly to ensure that quantity on invoice and physical stock balance.

  • Ensure inventories are properly stored for easy retrieval and access.

  • Provide reports of physical stock available weekly.

  • Ensure store is kept clean and organized.

  • Support the store supervisor with other tasks assigned.


Requirements



  • Candidates should possess OND / HND qualifications in Business Administration or Social Sciences discipline

  • 2 - 3 years relevant work experience as a store officer or inventory control officer in a restaurant or hotel.

  • Keen attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must be organized and punctual.

  • Prior experience working in a restaurant or hotel will be an added advantage.

  • Basic computer skills and the ability to use Microsoft word, excel is mandatory.
