Job Overview

  • He/she will be capable of creating dashboards, providing analysis, insights, and recommendations for business decision making.

  • The incumbent will be competent in using tools needed for their focus domain area. They will ensure the business understands the effects of a new product/process.

  • The role includes collaboration with various functions within the company and requires good communication skills.


Responsibilities

Acting as the intersection between Growth Analyst & Data PM, You will:



  • Provide data to marketing and product teams on retention, stickiness, churn, transactions etc. to influence marketing & product decisions

  • Provide recommendation on actions to improve key metrics across the user funnel based on data

  • Own end-to-end analytics workflow, including defining success, generating insights and hypotheses, performance metrics, socializing them across the organization, creating impactful dashboards and reports, and developing scalable analytics solutions and data models

  • Work closely with marketing, design, product, support, and engineering to anticipate analytics needs and to quantify the impact of existing features, future product changes, and marketing campaigns

  • Understand requirements from the business on reporting needs and helping to establish Key metrics

  • Interpret the data from primary and secondary sources, analysis the data and provide suitable reporting via dashboards

  • Assist to develop the data structures and maintain the databases.


 Specifications



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or equivalent

  • Four years + experience working as Data Analyst or Scientist

  • Ideally worked in a FinTech, or with consumer focused mobile product

  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and communicating technical results to stakeholder

  • Very strong SQL or Python Skill

  • Strong Excel skills

  • Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau, Google Studio or BI

  • Experience with analytical tools like google tag manager, web events, app events, firebase, branch, bigquery, iterable, Metabase, Mode, adjust, Amplitude, Mixpanel, Branch, Appsflyer or Domo (or similar tools)

  • Ability to talk through a data problem and come up with a way to fix it

  • Deep understanding of attribution for web and mobile applications, including techniques and tools like UTM and MMPs

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Good research and problem-solving skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to think creatively and critically and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment

  • Commercial mind and ability to put numbers into business perspective.
