Job Description

• We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Farm Supervisor to join our team.


• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agriculture, excellent organizational and leadership skills, and a passion for sustainable farming practices.

Responsibilities

Crop Management:

• Plan, organize, and oversee the cultivation of crops.


• Monitor and manage planting, irrigation, and harvesting activities.


• Implement pest and disease control measures.

Team Leadership:

• Lead and supervise farm workers, providing guidance and training as needed.


• Schedule and assign tasks to ensure efficient operations.


• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Equipment Maintenance:

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of farm equipment.


• Ensure all machinery is in good working condition and used safely.

Record Keeping:

• Maintain accurate records of planting schedules, crop yields, and other relevant data.


• Generate reports for management regarding farm activities and performance.

Quality Control:

• Implement quality control measures to ensure the production of high-quality crops.


• Monitor and address issues affecting crop health and yield.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Farm Supervisor or similar role.


• Strong knowledge of agricultural practices and techniques.


• Excellent leadership and communication skills.


• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.


• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.


• Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
