Job Description



Responsibilities



  • Analyze, review, and process credit requests for approval in line with the approval grid.

  • Ensure 100% compliance with the Bank’s Credit Policies and Procedure

  • Prioritize strict adherence to conditions precedent to drawdown and due diligence on documentation requirements on all transactions.

  • Ensure the conduct of post-disbursement review of credit facilities.

  • Collateral Management: Update the company’s collateral register for its loan assets for accuracy.

  • Monitor and track the loan portfolio to ensure adherence to repayment milestones, covenants, and conditions and drive prompt repayment on all transactions.

  • Conduct periodic portfolio review and report to the GH, Risk Management

  • Monitoring of market risk and operational risk indicators to identify variances where applicable and ensure variances are minimized.

  • Assist the GH, Risk Management in the product & policy development processes to ensure all inherent risks in the Bank’s product offerings are adequately dimensioned.

  • Any other tasks that may be assigned by the GH, Risk Management


Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field. Professional certifications are an added advantage.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in risk analysis or a related field within the financial industry.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and trends.

  • Excellent communication, presentation skills, and interpersonal skills to convey complex risk-related information to diverse audiences.

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to risk management.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to evolving priorities.

  • Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies, statistical analysis tools, risk modeling techniques.
