Job Description

• This job role manages legal risk relative to contracts to limit corporate exposure.

Job Requirements

• A first degree in Law i.e. (LLB)and Bachelor of Law (BL)


• Required: Nig. Bar Association (NBA), and/or Inst. of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA)


• At least 3 - 5 years experience in a legal function.


• A Bachelor's Degree in Law. A postgraduate degree is an added advantage.


• Should have been called to the Nigerian Bar.

Technical Competencies 

• Deep understanding of the laws and regulations governing the power industry


• Deep understanding of corporate laws, securities laws & capital markets


• Deep experience in implementing corporate governance frameworks


• Strong knowledge of commercial legal issues


• Strong sense of ethical business judgment


• Excellent organizational and analytical skills


• Excellent written and oral communication skills


• Strong business acumen


• Broad experience and demonstration of competence in computer software packages including Microsoft Office (in particular Word, Excel, and Power Point) Demonstrated success in managing and conducting a variety of litigation matters.
