Roles & Responsibilities include:

• Implement academic policies and the school curriculum to ensure pupils receive the highest standards of education


• Ensure high knowledge of related subjects and curriculum content


• Create weekly lesson plans in line with the scheme of work


• Follow the class timetable to create structure around lessons and daily class activities


• Teach pupils related subjects using a variety of lesson delivery methods


• Give regular class work and homework to assess how learning objectives are being met


• Ensure pupils’ classwork and homework is marked


• Continuously track and record individual pupils’ performance and progress


• Ensure pupils receive regular feedback on improvement areas and progress


• Promote personal and social development of class pupils and foster positive attitudes among them


• Create a conducive and stimulating environment for teaching and learning 


• Ensure class room is neat and tidy


• Ensure pupils’ health and safety within and outside the classroom and report any health and safety hazards to the School Management 


• Reside in Okota, Ago / Isolo and their environs
