Responsibilities



  • The ideal candidate will be able to cook continental dishes independently and responsibly use culinary expertise to prepare appetising or pleasing African and western cuisine.

  • The Chef ensures that the kitchen runs effectively on daily basis by preparing and serving quality and tasty food, maintain kitchen equipment, restock kitchen always, ensure proper housekeeping, apply standard hygiene/food safety controls and adhere to all safety precautions/rules.


Requirements



  • B.Sc / HND / ND Level in Hotel Management, Catering or Apprenticeship Certificate in Catering with at least five years experience in a large scale eatery industry

  • Developing unique and cuisine-appropriate menu and comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.

  • Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities and preparing meals and completing prep support as needed.
