Job Summary


AUDIT



  • Draw up audit plans/ programmes for audit engagements.

  • Collate all pre-audit documentations.

  • Ensure that 85% of all information and documents required for audit engagements are available prior to commencement of field work.

  • Develop, Manage and maintain soft and hard audit files.

  • Ensure that all assigned audit engagements are successfully completed from beginning to end.

  • Identifies and communicates audit issues raised, offering recommended solutions relevant to business and risk.

  • Lead and supervises junior audit team assigned to an audit task by providing guidance and overall review of deliverables.

  • Ensures audit conclusions are based on a complete understanding of the process, circumstances and risk.


TAX



  • Assist in planning all tax engagements which includes coordinating and requesting for all financial information and records that is required for the tax matters.

  • Establish the financial areas and records that can be examined for tax purpose by the tax authorities.

  • Produce reports that summaries the results on completion of tax exercises.

  • Oversee and review client’s tax need such as filing for renewals of income tax returns, VAT, Withholding tax etc.

  • Oversee and ensure that clients’ businesses and assets are properly structured to minimize the incidence of taxation.

  • Advising on aspects of property transaction and  the use of tax-efficient structures in property deals including the effective use of partnerships and co-ownership structure

  • Review computation of various tax returns and filing, and ensure strict compliance.

  • Review reports submitted by junior unit team, amend and recommend for adoption.


Qualification



  • Candidate must be a Chartered Accountant with minimum of 3 years experience
