Draw up audit plans/ programmes for audit engagements.
Collate all pre-audit documentations.
Ensure that 85% of all information and documents required for audit engagements are available prior to commencement of field work.
Develop, Manage and maintain soft and hard audit files.
Ensure that all assigned audit engagements are successfully completed from beginning to end.
Identifies and communicates audit issues raised, offering recommended solutions relevant to business and risk.
Lead and supervises junior audit team assigned to an audit task by providing guidance and overall review of deliverables.
Ensures audit conclusions are based on a complete understanding of the process, circumstances and risk.
TAX
Assist in planning all tax engagements which includes coordinating and requesting for all financial information and records that is required for the tax matters.
Establish the financial areas and records that can be examined for tax purpose by the tax authorities.
Produce reports that summaries the results on completion of tax exercises.
Oversee and review client’s tax need such as filing for renewals of income tax returns, VAT, Withholding tax etc.
Oversee and ensure that clients’ businesses and assets are properly structured to minimize the incidence of taxation.
Advising on aspects of property transaction and the use of tax-efficient structures in property deals including the effective use of partnerships and co-ownership structure
Review computation of various tax returns and filing, and ensure strict compliance.
Review reports submitted by junior unit team, amend and recommend for adoption.
Qualification
Candidate must be a Chartered Accountant with minimum of 3 years experience
