Summary of Position

• Welcome guests and guide them to their tables. Making sure safety and hygiene are maintained at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately.


• Notifies company personnel of visitor arrival.


• Informs visitors by answering or referring inquiries.


• Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories.


• Communicate with other staff such as dinners, informing them of clients’ bookings, needs, and complaints


• Collaborate with other restaurant staff and management to ensure that customer complaints are adequately attended to in a timely manner.


• Inform guests about the availability of tables and direct them to the tables.


• Draw up client bookings for tables and ensure that tables are set before clients’ arrival.
