Develop Company target market – identify and document qualifying sectors and criteria for customer selection within the sector
Research and compile a list of all organizations that form BU Power’s target customers within the geographical zone
Identify new clients and open a new business relationship with them
Present a portfolio of pipeline projects at the beginning and end of every business cycle
Convert relationships to projects from a portfolio of pipeline projects
Provide honest feedback on customers' perception of the company’s services
Prepare, analyze and update intelligence reports on competition, market trends, pricing and sales strategies
Develop new market ideas
Establishing and maintaining partnerships and relationships with key stakeholders within the business market
Developing a database of clients (prospective customers, new and past customers)
Prepare monthly sales and performance reports and use the report in creating a sales forecast
Translating proposals into ready-to-sign contracts
Owning the sales lifecycle from prospecting to implementation.
Participate in technical/commercial tender submissions, pre-bid stage activities, pre-bid qualification, and responding to all relevant bids and tenders and budget offers where required.
Requirements
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or other related discipline.
Candidates should possess 2 -5 years of cognate experience.
Candidates should have experience in generating sales for an Independent Power Plant.
