Job Description
- The Business Development Associate will activate and grow our network in the education technology space focusing on prospecting, qualifying, proposing, negotiating, and closing business deals with individuals, government establishment, SMEs, Religious organizations, NGOs.
- Leverage all available networks and alliances to uncover additional business opportunities for our edtech product.
Key Responsibilities
- Acquire, onboard, and retain new individual and corporate clients within some identified sectors.
- Develop and successfully execute sales strategies to exceed sales targets.
- Redefine, build, manage and consistently track the pipeline of prospects / leads for timely conversion.
- Support the development and implementation of strategic business plans for new and existing products and services.
- Execute aggressive strategies and plans to successfully drive the product as the preferred customer selection.
Qualifications and Experience Required
- Minimum of First Degree in any related field.
- Minimum of 2 years working experience in similar roles.
- Experience within the technology space will be an added advantage.
- Experience with the development and implementation of business development strategy.
- Commercially skilled in engaging customers, and internal and external stakeholders; building strong and trusted networks.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, staff, and stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
