Job Description



RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Preparation of operating budgets, financial statements, and reports.

  • Reconciliation of accounts.

  • Management of Fixed Asset Register

  • Reconciliation of accounting discrepancies

  • Advising on best practices related to fiscal procedures.

  • Analyzing financial data and assisting with audits, reviews, and tax preparations.

  • Prompt disbursement of loans.

  • Assist management teams with financial, strategic, and operational initiatives, while ensuring core value alignment with firm.

  • Updating financial spreadsheets and reports with the latest available data.

  • Remittance of Pensions, PAYE, WHT and other statutory obligation

  • Reviewing existing financial policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.

  • Raising invoices and ensuring invoices are paid promptly and on time.

  • Preparation of financial plan / forecast.

  • Assist in the preparation and review of all monthly and quarterly reports for Board, Shareholders, Regulatory bodies etc.

  • Providing assistance with payroll administration.

  • Monitor and manage expenses within the established budget.

  • Keeping records and documenting financial processes.


REQUIREMENTS



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

  • Must be chartered.

  • 4-7 years experience working as a finance associate.

  • Work experience in Financial Services is an added advantage.

  • Extensive knowledge of accounting standards, fiscal procedures, and applicable tax codes.

  • Great analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Exceptional attention to detail.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

  •  


Salary: ₦200,000 NET monthly
