As a Regional Sales Executive, you will be providing wastewater treatment products across Lagos. We manufacture and sell chemical pretreatment technologies, biological treatment technologies and process water membrane-based technologies in Nigeria. You will primarily be selling to executive leadership of end users being manufacturing facilities, water treatment plants etc.
Responsibilities:
Significantly increasing the sales pipeline, and meeting aggressive sales goals.
Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing a daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
Development and performance of all sales activities in the assigned territory (i.e. lead generation, cold calling, and appointment setting).
Promotion and sales of maintenance services to new and existing PCMN customers.
“Hands-on” servicing of accounts
Schedule service and sales calls – includes daily weekly and monthly reporting.
Maintaining a targeted gross profit average across all projects.
Negotiating the proposal and competitive bid process in conjunction with outside sales representatives.
Seeing projects through, from initial quoting to installation & ongoing operation.
Developing and maintaining meaningful relationships with end users, engineers, regulators, and outside representatives—those that extend beyond the project.
Identify new business needs and opportunities, and develop and implement customized solutions for our customers.
Establishing PCMN as a thought leader through conference exhibitions presentations.
Requirements
Diploma in Microbiology (or similar) is preferred.
Experience in water treatment, water hygiene, environmental health, and safety, and/or secondary disinfection is preferred, but not required.
General knowledge of water and its problems Nigeria faces.
Knowledge of Wastewater Treatment plants.
Knowledge of treatment of soak away’s, contaminated rivers, lagoons & dams etc.
Understanding the “Bio-augmentation” process.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales with a proven successful track record.
Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and management skill.
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) with experience working on teams from multiple locations.
Knowledgeable in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
