Thoughtful House Autism Center is looking to hire self motivated and vibrant special education teachers with most of the following basic requirements:

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education or a related field.


• Genuine interest in working with students with special needs and  a commitment to their educational and social development.


• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with students, colleagues, and parents.


• Ability to adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning needs.


• Demonstration of patience and empathy when working with students facing various challenges.


• Familiarity with basic classroom management techniques to create  a positive and inclusive learning environment.


• Eagerness to learn and engage in ongoing professional development  to enhance teaching

Skills.

• Willingness to collaborate with other teachers, support staff, and specialists to meet the individual needs of students.


• Awareness and respect for cultural diversity and its impact on  teaching and learning


• Basic proficiency in using educational technology


• Ability to observe student behavior, assess needs, and reflect on
  teaching practices.


• Adherence to ethical and professional standards in education.
