Our client is currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Cleaner. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of our facilities.
The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining a tidy and sanitized workspace, contributing to the overall well-being of staff and creating a positive impression for visitors.
Key Responsibilities
Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors and surfaces.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, ensuring they are well-stocked with necessary supplies.
Empty and dispose of trash receptacles in an environmentally friendly manner.
Wipe down and disinfect frequently-touched surfaces, such as doorknobs, light switches, and countertops.
Assist in maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when replenishment is needed.
Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistent and high-quality results.
Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department.
Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment.
Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess an SSCE qualification with 1 - 3 years relevant work experience.
Proven experience as a cleaner or janitor, preferably in a commercial or office setting.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality cleaning services.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
