Responsibilities



  • Achieve against sales target.

  • Develop new business relationships, and generate and negotiate new business opportunities.

  • Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences.

  • Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, and explain technical product advantage.

  • Interface between the company and potential clients through direct communication such as onsite meetings, telephone calls, and presentations to promote our brand and services.

  • Maintain and keep a good relationship with our clients.

  • Prepare marketing plans and strategies.

  • Responsible for lead generation and appointment setting.

  • A thorough understanding of the client’s needs/objectives.

  • 80% of the time will be out of the office for follow-up and follow-through meetings.

  • Prepare and develop technical presentations to explain our company’s products and services to existing and prospective customers.

  • Negotiate details of contracts and payments and prepare sales contracts and order forms.

  • Discuss raw materials requirements with customers and identify the correct product offering from our company. Provide product samples based on the customer's requirement and follow up till the sample approval.

  • Recommend products to customers, based on customers’ needs and interests.

  • Effective Communication with logistics coordinator and government agencies.

  • Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support.

  • Answer customers’ questions about products, prices, product, availability


Qualifications



  • BSc or HND Chemical Engineering, Engineering, or related sciences.

  • Member of ICCON ( Institute of Charted Chemists of Nigeria)

  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in sales and marketing in the Chemical market.

  • A positive and determined approach to researching and analyzing new business opportunities.

  • Confident negotiator and ability to close deals.

  • Must have strong interpersonal, customer service, and sales skills.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and business writing skills especially proposals.

  • Problem-solving skills, with the ability to generate ideas and solutions.

  • Should have good networks with chemical companies, especially the subject area assigned to the staff.
