  • As the Production and Quality Assurance Manager for our fast-food chain, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the production process and ensuring that our food products consistently meet high-quality standards.

  • You will be responsible for managing the production team, implementing quality control measures, and optimizing processes to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.


Key Roles and Responsibilities



  • Plan and coordinate daily production schedules for all outlets to meet demand.

  • Supervise and lead the production team, ensuring adherence to recipes, portion control, and quality standards.

  • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the procurement team for timely ingredient replenishment.

  • Develop and implement quality assurance procedures to guarantee the consistency and safety of food products.

  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of the production process to identify areas for improvement.

  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality of raw materials meets the required standards.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

  • Implement best practices to streamline production workflows and achieve cost-effectiveness.

  • Identify opportunities to introducenew products or improve existing ones.

  • Enforce strict hygiene and safety protocols throughout the production facility.

  • Ensure compliance with local health regulations and industry standards.

  • Conduct regular training sessions for the production team on safety and sanitation.

  • Prepare and present regular reports on production performance and quality metrics.

  • Communicate key findings to management and collaborate on strategies for continuous improvement.

  • Monitor customer feedback related to product quality and address any issues promptly.

  • Implement measures to enhance customer satisfaction through consistent quality.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in food production and quality assurance within the fast-food or restaurant industry.

  • Minimum of ten (10) years relevant work experience of which at least five (5) years must have been at a senior management level in a food services organization.

  • Strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality control methodologies.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
