Description

• A plastics manufacturing company in Lagos is looking to recruit for the role of Production Processing and Blending Staff.


• The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the processing and blending activities related to PVC production and will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate blending of raw materials, monitoring production processes, and maintaining quality standards.

Responsibilities

Raw Material Handling:

• Receive, inspect, and manage raw materials for PVC production.


• Ensure accurate measurements and proper storage of raw materials.


• Collaborate with the procurement team to maintain optimal inventory levels.

Blending Operations:

• Operate and oversee blending equipment to ensure accurate mixing of PVC materials.


• Follow standard operating procedures to achieve consistent product quality.


• Monitor and adjust processing parameters to optimize production efficiency.

Quality Control:

• Conduct routine quality checks on processed materials to ensure compliance with specifications.


• Identify and address any deviations from quality standards promptly.


• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to implement corrective actions when necessary.

Production Monitoring:

• Monitor production processes to ensure smooth operations.


• Address any issues that may arise during production promptly.


• Work closely with the Production Manager to implement improvements in the production process.

Safety and Compliance:

• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.


• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.


• Participate in safety training and contribute to the development of safety initiatives.

Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of production activities, including blending recipes and process parameters.


• Generate reports on production efficiency, material usage, and quality metrics.
