Job Description
As the Business Development Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our business by overseeing and guiding our Business Development Officers (BDOs) stationed at the airport stand. Reporting directly to the Business Development Manager (BDM), you will be responsible for; getting quality leads that could translate into quality sales, implementing strategic initiatives, fostering client relationships, and ensuring the successful execution of business development activities.
- Supervise the business development officers in ensuring they carry out specified duties.
- Identify, engage, and bring in potential/prospective clientele into the airport office of the organization.
- Ensure the comfort of all prospective clients at the airport office of the organization.
- Escort the clients out of the office and get their feedback.
- Submit activity reports to the BDM at the end of each day.
- Maintain relationships with team members, clients and other stakeholders by providing support, information, and guidance when and if necessary.
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the company’s services.
- Ensure high level of customer satisfaction to promote loyalty and recurring deals.
- Always maintain a high level of professionalism with clients, team members, and co-workers.
- Demonstrate and provide information on promoted products.
- Create a positive image and enlighten clients on the values attached to recent products.
- Strictly follow the given Daily/Monthly Targets of Collecting qualified leads
- Encourage and push clients for physical/virtual meetings.
- Create daily, weekly, monthly client meeting calendar
- Ability to Capture all the walk-in client’s details correctly.
- Distribute product samples, brochures, flyers etc. to source new sales/Meeting opportunities.
- Identify interest and understand customer needs and requirements.
- Identify interested buyers/clients in order to provide them with additional information.
- Keep areas neat while working and return items to correct locations following demonstrations.
- Attract the attention of prospective customers using excellent communication and persuasive measures.
- Learn about competitors' products and consumers' interests and concerns in order to answer questions and provide more complete information.
- Report on demonstration related information (interest level, questions asked, number of samples/flyers distributed etc.)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Proficient in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant business development tools.
- 3-5 years’ experience in sales and marketing, (our industry knowledge is an added advantage)
- Social media knowledge is an added advantage
- Strong listening, communication, presentation and social skills
- Confident, well-spoken, and Professional
- Work under pressure and during events
- Ability to understand clients’ needs and handle different types of personalities
- Presentable and well-dressed at all times
- High level of integrity and work ethics
- Proven ability to meet and exceed target, deadline and work under pressure
- Critical thinking and analytical skills
- Excellent relationship management
- Ability to priorities and effectively manage time
- Ability to easily adjust in flexible work environment; overtime, travel, weekends, etc.

What We Offer:
Basic Pay – N150,000 and performance-based incentives.
