  • Our client is a currently seeking a talented and motivated Legal Associate with expertise in Corporate and Real Estate law to join the team.


Key Responsibilities

Transactional Work:



  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of corporate and real estate agreements, including contracts, leases, purchase agreements, and financing documents.

  • Provide legal counsel on mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures in both corporate and real estate contexts.


Due Diligence:



  • Conduct due diligence reviews for real estate transactions, assessing legal and regulatory risks.

  • Analyse corporate documents and financial information in the context of M&A deals.


Client Interaction:



  • Work closely with clients to understand their business and real estate objectives.

  • Provide strategic legal advice to support clients in achieving their goals.


Document Preparation:



  • Prepare legal documents such as corporate resolutions, organisational agreements, and real estate closing documents.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations in all transactions.


Real Estate Development:



  • Advise clients on real estate development projects, zoning issues, and land use regulations.

  • Assist in the negotiation and drafting of construction agreements and development contracts.


Collaboration:



  • Collaborate with other legal professionals and departments within the firm.

  • Work closely with senior associates on complex corporate and real estate matters.


Compliance:



  • Ensure clients' compliance with corporate governance and real estate laws.

  • Stay informed about changes in regulations affecting corporate and real estate practices.


Client Development:



  • Participate in client development activities, including client meetings, presentations, and business development initiatives.

  • Build and manage strong client relationships.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB)

  • 3-4 years Post Call to Bar Experience.

  • 3-4 years of experience in corporate and real estate law.

  • Strong understanding of corporate governance, real estate transactions, and regulatory compliance.

  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced legal environment.
