  • As part of our commitment to mentorship and the development of young legal professionals, we are offering an opportunity for a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member to join our team as an NYSC Associate.


Key Responsibilities

Legal Research and Writing:



  • Conduct legal research on various issues and provide well-written legal opinions.

  • Draft legal documents, including letters, briefs, and other legal correspondence.


Case Management:



  • Assist in managing case files and ensuring proper documentation.

  • Attend court sessions, hearings, and legal meetings under the guidance of senior associates of the firm.


Client Interaction:



  • Work closely with senior associates in meeting and communicating with clients.

  • Assist in gathering client information and maintaining positive client relationships.


Administrative Support:



  • Provide administrative support to the legal team, including document filing and organisation.

  • Assist in the preparation of legal documents and court forms.


Legal Compliance:



  • Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations relevant to the firm's practice areas.

  • Assist in ensuring clients' compliance with legal requirements.


Collaboration:



  • Collaborate with other legal professionals within the firm.

  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on legal matters.


Professional Development:



  • Take advantage of learning opportunities within the firm to enhance legal knowledge and skills.

  • Seek guidance and mentorship from senior associates for career development


Qualifications



  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degree from a recognised university.

  • Enrollment in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program.

  • Should have been called by the Nigerian Bar (Or few weeks away from being called)

  • Strong interest in pursuing a career in law.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
