Job Summary



  • As an Account Officer at AMS Finance, you will be part of our dynamic finance team, supporting various financial and accounting functions, offering an opportunity to gain practical knowledge and skills in accounting and financial management.


Key Responsibilities

Financial Record Keeping:



  • Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers.

  • Input and update financial data into accounting software.


Accounts Payable and Receivable:



  • Support the processing of invoices and payments.

  • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.


Bank Reconciliation:



  • Assist in reconciling bank statements to ensure accuracy.

  • Record and categorize banking transactions.


Financial Reporting:



  • Generate basic financial reports as required.

  • Contribute to the preparation of financial statements.


Budget Support:



  • Assist in preparing budget documents and reports.

  • Contribute to budget monitoring and variance analysis.


Tax Compliance:



  • Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns.

  • Stay informed about tax regulations and compliance requirements.


Documentation and Filing:



  • Organize and maintain financial documents and records.

  • Ensure proper filing and documentation of financial transactions.


Cross-Functional Collaboration:



  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to gather and share financial information.

  • Provide support in financial analysis and reporting.


Qualifications and Skills



  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • 2-3 years’ experience in an accounting role

  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
