  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Assistant to support our retail pharmacy's inventory management functions. The successful candidate will assist the Inventory Officer in maintaining accurate stock levels, facilitating orders, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the pharmacy's operations.


Job Functions / Responsibilities



  • Assist in monitoring inventory levels and order replenishment as needed.

  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of pharmaceutical products.

  • Input and update inventory data accurately using specialized software.

  • Maintain organized records of stock transactions, receipts, and adjustments.

  • Conduct regular checks to ensure product quality and compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Assist in monitoring expiration dates and managing the removal of expired or damaged items.

  • Work closely with the Inventory Officer to implement effective stock control procedures.

  • Communicate with pharmacy staff to gather insights on demand patterns.

  • Generate regular reports on inventory levels, turnover, and slow-moving items.

  • Provide insights and suggestions for improving inventory performance.

  • Assist in evaluating supplier performance and negotiating favorable terms.

  • Contribute to identifying opportunities for process optimization.


Requirements / Qualifications



  • OND or HND in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as an Inventory Officer with 2-3 years of relevant work experience.

  • Proficient in inventory management software, QuickBooks software knowledge is a plus.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask effectively.

  • Must be willing to resume work immediately.


Additional Requirements:



  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.

  • Must reside in Victoria Island and its environs.

  • Must be able to move around Festac, Lekki.


Salary and Benefits



  • Monthly salary ranges from N50,000 to N120,000, depending on experience.
