Job Overview



  • We are an Agri-commodity venture looking to launch our pioneering food product into the retail market. We see the experience of dynamic Business Development Manager with proven record to champion the market positioning and RTM of our unique product.

  • The ideal candidate should demonstrate ability to charter the business and market requirement for strategic deployment and operationalization of our retail/consumer goods.

  • Successful candidate will be responsible for discovering and pursuing new sales prospects, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction across various operational facets, including production inventory management, staff supervision, and process optimization.


Responsibilities



  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of the product, from development through launch to sales.

  • Coordinate the entire RTM strategies and ensure optimal utilization of different channels including distribution, sales, supply chain, market segmentation, and customer experience.

  • Lead and motivate the operational team to achieve high levels of performance.

  • Schedule and manage staff assignments to meet operational needs.

  • Plan training and development opportunities to enhance employee skills.

  • Identify areas for operational improvement and implement efficient processes.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

  • Build a culture of customer-centricity.

  • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to continually improve customer experience.

  • Implement quality control measures to ensure the integrity of products.

  • Monitor and address product defects or discrepancies.

  • Work with vendors to maintain high-quality standards.

  • Enforce health and safety protocols to create a secure work environment.

  • Ensure regular safety inspections, stock audits and training sessions is conducted.

  • Coordinate procurements to optimize stock levels and reduce carrying costs.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

  • Proven experience in business operations and sales management within the retail/consumer goods industry.

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Familiar with operational processes and management. This includes inventory management, logistics, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of a startup retail outlet.
