You will be responsible to grow GTE orders in Sub Saharan Africa Region maximizing profitability and increasing market share. You will lead a team of regional Senior Sales executing the Company strategy, and  reporting to the Europe/CIS/SSA Sales & Commercial Leader.


 


As a Sub Saharan Africa Sales Leader, you will be responsible for:



  • Growing Sub Saharan Africa orders creating Client Intimacy and trust.

  • Leading and coaching the local Sales team to hit the annual Orders Operating Plan financial securing profitable orders

  • Leading the team who negotiates deals with customers, closes orders and hands off the projects to the execution team.

  • Maintaining relations with local institutions, Government, Independent Oil Companies and National Oil Companies ensuring visibility of sales opportunities from the conceptual design until the final commercial development

  • Maximizing the competitiveness of the BH solutions offered to target the right level of market share according to company’s strategy.

  • Fostering the commercialization of new products and new technologies under development in strict coordination with Strategy & Growth team.

  • Contributing to forecast annual budget to meet regional sales objectives.

  • Resolving problems, identifying trends, determines regional sales system improvements, and implements change when necessary

  • Leads MULTI-EPC new units’ regional bids negotiation

  • Strengthening the strategy in the region including prioritization as well as price and margin definition

  • Supporting the team in contract negotiation and facilitating the coordination of different functions (Legal, Finance, Manufacturing, Other regional sales) during negotiation

  • Promoting additional business opportunities scouting new Customers

To be successful in this role you will:



  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university or college

  • Have 10+ years of commercial or sales experience

  • Have in-depth knowledge of Oil & Gas and GTE/GTS markets and customers

  • Be able to engage, influence and drive multiple-external and internal stakeholders.

  • Be a self-starter & able to work on their own initiative.

  • Demonstrate excellent presentation skills.

  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively.

  • Repeated decision making and capability to pivot under pressure.

  • Have proven capability to manage and grow a team of senior sales managers.

  • Demonstrate experience of diverse and multicultural team management
