Job Description



Job Objective



  • Responsible for the Design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of professional development programs of employees in line with the company strategic business goals.


Principal Duties & Responsibilities



  • Develop training plans in line with Upbeat’s strategic business goals.

  • Monitor annual training plan and budget for all staff.

  • Identify and implement cost effective ways of employee development.

  • Evaluate individual and organizational development needs to create and execute learning strategies and programs.

  • Develop all internal training materials and execution plans.

  • Implement various learning methods companywide (e.g., coaching, mentoring, cross training, job-shadowing, online training)

  • Design and deliver e-learning courses, workshops and other trainings.

  • Work with and support line managers to coach and develop their team through career pathing to support succession planning.

  • Strengthening the organizational culture and promoting positive attitude through trainings and ensuring that UPBEAT values are lived and embedded in our people practices.

  • Assess the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities.

  • Evaluate training programs to guarantee ROI

  • Develop Learning & Development Standard Operating Processes

  • Vet and engage external training vendors to ensure quality of programs


Competency & Skills Requirement



  • Good written skills with the ability to write clear, understandable plans.

  • Very strong communications skills.

  • Ability to inspire, motivate and drive all members of the team.

  • Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods

  • Project planning and management skills

  • Analytical and Detail oriented

  • Experience with designing e-learning courses

  • Experience with MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS)


Experience & Qualification



  • Graduate degree Minimum of 3 years’ L&D experience

  • Experience in designing e-learning courses.
