Job Objective
- Responsible for the Design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of professional development programs of employees in line with the company strategic business goals.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop training plans in line with Upbeat’s strategic business goals.
- Monitor annual training plan and budget for all staff.
- Identify and implement cost effective ways of employee development.
- Evaluate individual and organizational development needs to create and execute learning strategies and programs.
- Develop all internal training materials and execution plans.
- Implement various learning methods companywide (e.g., coaching, mentoring, cross training, job-shadowing, online training)
- Design and deliver e-learning courses, workshops and other trainings.
- Work with and support line managers to coach and develop their team through career pathing to support succession planning.
- Strengthening the organizational culture and promoting positive attitude through trainings and ensuring that UPBEAT values are lived and embedded in our people practices.
- Assess the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities.
- Evaluate training programs to guarantee ROI
- Develop Learning & Development Standard Operating Processes
- Vet and engage external training vendors to ensure quality of programs
Competency & Skills Requirement
- Good written skills with the ability to write clear, understandable plans.
- Very strong communications skills.
- Ability to inspire, motivate and drive all members of the team.
- Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods
- Project planning and management skills
- Analytical and Detail oriented
- Experience with designing e-learning courses
- Experience with MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
Experience & Qualification
- Graduate degree Minimum of 3 years’ L&D experience
- Experience in designing e-learning courses.
