Job Description 

• The senior accountant will oversee the organization’s financial operations by efficiently distributing financial resources and providing strategic and profitable advice.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Develop a robust financial strategythat will drive sustainable growth


• Develop effective methods tominimizefinancial risk


• Ensure total oversight of all financialactivities and documentation


• Develop strategies and procedures to maintain and strengthen internal controls


• Continuously track the financial status and performance of the business to identify areas that require improvement


• Prepare and execute budget, enforcing strict budget compliance


• Conduct periodic audits of budget items, comparing budget-to-actual expenses


• Every other financial duties assigned.

Skills / Requirements

• M.Sc. in Accounting or Finance


• A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience with at least 3 years in a managerial position in finance.


• Professional accounting qualification, e.g., ACA, ACCA


• Solid knowledge of regulatory compliance (PAYE, PENSION, VAT, Organization’s Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax)


• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software


• Ability to interpret financial records and reports


• Ability to draw up monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


• High accuracy and attention to detail.
