Job Summary
- Organise and maintain all records for Procurement purposes
- Providing procurement support during the mobilization phase of any contract award, assessing the subcontractor requirements and any incumbent supply chain suitability v’s the need for new providers to be vetted.
- Responsible for the discovery of new suppliers/subcontractors where needed and onboard with all appropriate certification and accreditation.
- Work closely with all operational departments
- Find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes
- Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable deals, rebates, reduced rates
- Ensure compliance and best practice in all areas of responsibilities. Including maintaining up to date key supplier/subcontractor and competence of people at the required level.
- Ensure effective and efficient process are in place by driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience
- A Degree in Supply Chain, Business Management or related discipline is preferred
- A minimum of 1 year experience as a procurement executive or similar is required.
- Goodexperience and knowledge of Microsoft officeincluding word& excel
- Good communicationskills
- Good interpersonal skills.
