Main Function

• Perform mechanical engineering duties in overseeing the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of agricultural and heavy duty equipment.

Roles / Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.


• Confer with engineers and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information on Tractors.


• Undertake repairs, maintenance and monitoring of all machineries especially Tractors.


• Testing Tractors and other agricultural machinery so as to ensure smooth operations on the field.


• Specify system components or direct modification of all machineries to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.


• Research, design, evaluate, install, operate, and maintain mechanical products, equipment, systems and processes to meet requirements, applying knowledge of engineering principles.


• Recommend design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions. writing technical documentation for machine operators.


• Collaborating with project managers and other engineers in our team


• Perform detailed documentation to track tractors usage

Technical Skills Requirements

• At least a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or in a related field.


• NSE and COREN registered added advantage.


• At least 5 years experience of proven knowledge and expertise in the installation, use, and repair of agricultural equipment especially John Deere Tractors.


• Ability to run simulations and analyze test data.


• Ability to write clear and comprehensive technical documentation.


• Excellent knowledge of Diesel Heavy duty equipment (construction, agricultural machines and equipment).


• Highly analytical mind, with exceptional fault finding skills and attention to detail.


• Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability


• Skilled report writer.


• Willing to work in any part of Nigeria.


• Knowledgeable in Microsoft office
