PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To Monitor production activities and ensure that in-process and finished products conform to specifications, relevant standards, company’s objectives, and customer’s food safety requirements.

THE JOB

• Identify defective or non-compliance products and quarantine the lots.


• Draw and keep representative reference samples for each products produced.


• Carry out line inspection for cleanliness and ensure that hygiene requirement are met before and during production.


• Confirm the hygiene level of personnel in the packaging area, report all non- compliance, generate and issue non-compliance form accordingly.


• Report and document all quality related findings during production and packaging to the Compliance/Quality Assurance Officer.


• Maintain food safety Management System requirement.


• Ensure that all scales at the recipe weighing room and production floor are working properly, verify weekly and maintain record.


• Understand the company’s food safety policy, its objective, and the benefits of an improved food safety management system.


• Ensure compliance with FSMS requirements in the assigned work process.


• Be aware of identified food safety risks, opportunities, and consequences inherent in the departmental/work processes concerning FSMS requirements and where applicable.


• Report problems with regard to the food safety management system to the food safety team/Leader or any other person specified via appropriate identification within the factory.


• Carry out other duties as assigned by the Compliance/Quality Assurance Officer

QUALIFICATION

• 5 O’ level credits including Mathematics & English in not more than 2 sittings/NABTEB.


• OND in Pure& Applied Science, Physical Sciences or any other related discipline is a plus.

EXPERIENCE

• 2 years’ experience in a similar role
