Job Description:

An Agro-business company is looking for qualified and motivated Farm Assistants to spear-head initial farming of a 149-hectare farmland in Gwagwalada Area Council, FCT, Nigeria.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Responsible for the day-to-day work that needs to be done on the farm, under the guidance of the Farm Supervisor or Farm Manager.


• Planting of crops.


• Spraying pesticides and herbicides.


• Applying fertilizer.


• Managing irrigation.


• Harvesting & storage of crops.

Requirements:

• Minimum of a secondary school education.


• Reliable and punctual.


• Hard working  


• Detail oriented


• Honest and ethical.


• A passion for farming.


• Farming experience preferred.
