Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and create fashion designs that align with brand aesthetics and current market trends.


• Source and select appropriate fabrics, materials, and colors for each design, considering both aesthetics and functionality.


• Develop and create patterns that translate design concepts into tangible garments.


• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, production, and marketing, to ensure cohesive and successful product launches.


• Maintain high standards of quality throughout the design and production process, ensuring that final products meet brand expectations.


• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and consumer preferences to inform design decisions.


• Oversee the creation of prototypes, providing feedback, and making necessary adjustments to achieve the desired design outcome.


• Effectively manage design timelines to meet project deadlines.

Requirements

• Education: SSCE / OND / HND or a Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design or a related field.


• Experience: Proven experience as a fashion designer with a minimum of 2 years in the fashion industry.


• Technical Skills: Proficient in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and familiarity with pattern-making software will be an added advantage


• Creativity: strong creative and artistic abilities with a keen understanding of fashion trends.


• Communication: Excellent communication skills are needed to effectively convey design concepts and collaborate with team members.


• Detail-oriented: Attention to detail in design, pattern-making, and quality control processes.


• Adaptability: ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
