Job Description

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.  


• Demonstrated experience as a Baker in a professional setting, such as a bakery or commercial kitchen.


• Proficient in mixing, shaping, and baking various types of dough and batter.


• Knowledge of different baking techniques, including artisan bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies.

Responsibilities

• Mixing, shaping, and baking different types of dough and batter


• Preparing artisan bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies


• Ensuring quality and consistency in baked goods


• Following recipes and procedures accurately


• Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the bakery


• Monitoring inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed


• Collaborating with other kitchen staff to coordinate timings and requirements


• Adhering to health and safety regulations


• Assisting in menu planning and development


• Training and supervising junior bakery staff Requirements
