Our client, a luxury hotel, is looking to recruit a Restaurant Manager. This is a full-time on-site role. The Restaurant Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the restaurant, ensuring that customers are satisfied, managing employees, overseeing the hiring process, ensuring effective communication with staff, and monitoring and optimizing food and beverage operations.


Job Description



  • Recruiting, training and supervising staff.

  • Preparing and managing budgets.

  • Creating staffing rotas.

  • Planning menus.

  • Ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene and health and safety legislation.

  • Promoting and marketing the business.

  • Overseeing stock levels and ordering supplies.

  • Handling customer enquiries and complaints.

  • Taking reservations.

  • Greeting and advising customers.

  • Problem solving.

  • Preparing and presenting staffing/sales reports.

  • Keeping statistical and financial records.

  • Assessing and improving profitability.

  • Liaising with customers, employees, suppliers, licensing authorities and sales representatives.

  • Making improvements to the running of the business and developing the restaurant.


Qualifications



  • Customer Satisfaction, Customer Service, and Communication skills

  • Experience in hiring, training, and managing employees in the restaurant industry

  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations, inventory management, and cost control

  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving abilities

  • A Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field
