• Popcentral, the trailblazing entertainment platform, is seeking a talented and versatile Audio Designer with expertise in field audio recording for live shows.


• In this role, you will contribute to the creation of captivating audio experiences across various projects, ensuring impeccable sound quality and innovation in both studio and live settings.

Responsibilities:

Audio Design and Production:

• Design, mix, and produce high-quality audio content for a variety of projects, including podcasts, talk shows, and documentaries.


• Collaborate with the production team to enhance the overall audio experience of Popcentrals content.

Field Audio Recording:

• Undertake field audio recording for live shows, events, and on-location productions.


• Ensure optimal audio quality and capture ambient sounds that enhance the immersive experience for the audience.

Live Show Support:

• Provide on-site audio support during live shows, managing sound equipment and troubleshooting issues as they arise.


• Collaborate with the production and floor management teams to achieve seamless live audio experiences.

Post-Production Editing:

• Edit and enhance recorded audio content in post-production, ensuring the final product meets Popcentrals quality standards.


• Work with the post-production team to integrate audio seamlessly into visual content.

Equipment Management:

• Manage and maintain audio recording equipment, ensuring it is in optimal condition for field and studio work.


• Stay informed about industry advancements in audio technology.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate effectively with the production team, on-air personalities, and other stakeholders.


• Communicate with clarity and precision to achieve the desired audio outcomes.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Audio Designer with a focus on field audio recording.


• Proficiency in audio editing software and sound design tools.


• Experience in live audio production and familiarity with relevant equipment.


• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to dynamic live show environments.


• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
