Job Description



Role Responsibilities:



  • Plan and execute the marketing, sales and aftersales of ELGi Air Compressors and other technical products within the approved geographic areas to meet monthly and annual set targets.

  • Develop new customer base and strive to retain existing customers.

  • Ensures consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning, deployment, implementation of effective sales strategy and management of resources.

  • Profitably manage the business working capital in terms of inventory, debt, turnover, and assets.

  • Provide guidance and leadership to the sales and service teams in meeting set targets and objectives.

  • Co-ordinate and ensure appropriate and effective training of sales and services teams.

  • Provide quality and timely reports on sales, forecasts, budget, and business plan to the Head of Business.

  • Perform detailed analytical review of the forecast, budget, and business plan to ensure correctness, completeness, and accuracy of reports.

  • Ensures alignment of the subsidiary’s sales objectives to the company’s forecast, budget, and business plan.

  • Originate and recommend stock order requisition to the Business Head for approval.

  • Liaise with suppliers on all equipment stock order approved by the Head of Business

  • Ensure commitment to and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations across the organization.

  • Execute planned budget regarding stock order plan and minimum sales profit margin on equipment sales.

  • Provide adequate and timely product information to customers.

  • Monitor the activities of Competitors and Market with respect to sales, pricing, new product and marketing strategy.

  • Any other assigned responsibility


Requirements

Competency & Skill requirements:



  • Business-to-Business (B2B) Selling skills.

  • Excellent Negotiation skills

  • Customer Relationship Management

  • Excellent Communication skills both verbally and written.

  • Good leadership and organization skills


Work/Educational/Professional Qualifications



  • MBA or master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
