GENERAL DESCRIPTION    


The Procurement Specialist is to lead strategic supplier management, negotiate contracts, and drive cost-effective procurement. The role is pivotal in ensuring seamless logistics operations, collaborating with stakeholders, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to optimize our supply chain.   


DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION    



  • Establish supplier list and common material/service list

  • Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts.

  • Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.  

  • Preparing budgets, cost analyses, and reports.  

  • Reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving products and services to be purchased.  

  • Purchasing the products and services on time for the requesting departments.  

  • Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.  

  • Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.


 REQUIREMENTS 



  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a Procurement Officer or in a similar position, Experience in the Logistics field is an added advantage.

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business management or a similar field preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Software Purchase.                                

  • Supervisory and management experience.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills. 

  • Good analytical and strategic thinking skills.
