Job Description



We are looking for highly motivated Manager with strong environmental, social and governance credentials, which include theoretical and practical experience. They must also be commercially aware and able to identify ESG risks and value creation opportunities for clients. 


Key Responsibilities



  • Creating and delivering ESG strategies and sustainability programmes for clients, including policy, procedures, and monitoring.

  • Build and manage relationships with key external clients, including fund and asset managers, executive teams and sustainability functions that result in business growth.

  • Proven project management experience from proposal stage to completion to include establishing scopes and project budgets, client communications, managing deliverables, and coordinating project teams.

  • Provide key research, analysis, and advisory insight and support to the consultancy team and wider business.


Qualifications and Work Experience



  • Master of Science degree in Environmental or Social Sciences or related field required.


Required Skills and Competencies



  • 5-8 years minimum experience in ESG

  • Experience working in Finance sector with Private Equity, DFI’s etc to understand their requirements

  • Extensive experience working with IFC Performance Standards, World Bank EHS Guidelines, Equator Principles, ILO and other relevant international standards and guidelines

  • Extensive experience conducting ESG Due Diligences of Category A and B investments across a number of sectors both in developed and emerging markets

  • Extensive experience developing ESMS on both a fund and PC level

  • Experience working with UNPRI, TCFD, SFDR and other frameworks
