SKILLS


We are seeking a candidate with a unique skill set that encompasses the following:



  • Website Knowledge

  • Familiarity with Mailchimp, Zoho, Exclaimer, Google Analytics, Website SEO Optimization.

  • Analytics interpretation

  • Understanding of new media platforms

  • Strong research, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • Able to communicate confidently and clearly with a variety of stakeholders.

  • Previous experience as a PHP / Laravel or WordPress developer for at least 6months - 1year.

  • Profound knowledge of object-oriented PHP, WordPress and Laravel 5 PHP Framework

  • Hands on experience with SQL schema design, and MySQL profiling and query optimization. 


REQUIRED QUALIFICATION



  • Education BSC or MSc in Computer science, Engineering, or similar course.

  • Certification is a plus 

  • Proven experience in IT/Website Management

  • Currently conducting/finished National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program


JOB DESCRIPTION/TASK SUMMARY



  • Ongoing content update on the website

  • Meeting with editing, marketing, and design teams to plan and develop site content, style and appearance.

  • Using web content management systems to analyze website usage.

  • Conduct content audits to identify gaps and redundancies in the site content.

  • Writing reports for senior managers, and partnership organizations.

  • Reporting technical problems to senior management 

  •  Provide technical support for the NSSF website and WP Engine hosting platform.

  • Manage both test and production environments on WP Engine.

  • Integrate website with Google Analytics and prepare weekly website analytics report.

  • Manage site backup and recovery processes.


I.T.



  • Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers & scanners 

  • Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance upgrades. 

  • Setting up accounts for staff, educating them on log in and resolve issues arising.

  • Maintaining records of software licenses
