Job purpose


Plan, coordinate, and execute all activities related to the outbound logistics operations of the organization. This includes overseeing the timely and accurate dispatch of both export shipments and local finished goods, ensuring adherence to quality standards and compliance with regulatory requirements.


Responsibilities



  • Maintain existing layout & space management; effective storekeeping; work organization chart; procedures such as Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) as applicable.

  • Manage stock control: the self-assured receipt, storage, retrieval and timely delivery of goods; transferring; document recording and data entry into the system.

  • Planning, organizing and controlling of stores’ over-all operations, maintaining end to end activities with all user departments.

  • Ensure issuance of materials by rotating inventory to avoid obsolescence, expiry and loss of company resources.

  • Maintain an up-to-date register and ensure tracker for materials on “returnable and non-returnable basis”.

  • Ensure prompt documentation of materials/items receipt by generating Store Receipt Vouchers (SRVs) and dispatch same with suppliers’ invoice(s) to finance department accordingly.

  • Issue inventory in line with policies and procedures. Report items receipts without Local Purchase Orders (LPOs), Obsolete Materials Report, dead stock report, materials consumption reports, OVP Delivery Report, Materials Expiry Report.

  • Responsible for Spares, Consumables and Raw Materials stock count activities and ensure all variances (where existed) are resolved and documented.


Qualifications & Experience



  • Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Supply Chain, Accounting, Economics, Social Sciences or Sciences or any other related fields

  • 7-10 years’ experience in related roles

  • Use of Microsoft Offices – Excel, Words, Navision etc

  • Good communication Skills - oral and written.

  • Good Relationship Management Skills
