About the job



  • Candidate must have experience raising funds and getting investments.

  • Preparing reports on financial status or progress of projects to upper management

  • Helping company raise capital and make investments in the existing business, projects and equipment.

  • Planning for capital expenditures such as equipment purchases or building construction projects

  • Determining which investments are profitable based on interest rates, market conditions, and other factors

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with banks, investors, and other financial institutions

  • Negotiate loans, lines of credit, and other financing arrangements on behalf of the company.

  • Preparing budgets and financial forecasts and monitoring spending to ensure that it complies with company policies

  • Analyzing prospective investments to determine their viability and risks.

  • Prepare periodic reports detailing the company’s financial position, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and budgets

  • Develop financial models to support decision-making around new business opportunities, investments, and other strategic initiatives

  • Manage the company’s treasury function, managing cash flow and liquidity.

  • Manage the company’s capital structure, ensuring an optimal mix of debt and equity

  • Coordinate the development and implementation of financial planning and forecasting processes.

  • Advise senior management on financial planning, and risk management.

  • Stay abreast of developments in the field of corporate finance and share insights with the team on a regular basis

  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement process improvements

  • Serve as a key member of the leadership team, providing input on strategic decisions affecting the company as a whole.


Required Skills and Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or other related fields

  • 5+ years experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or similar role

  • Proven track record of treasury management, successful financial management and analysis

  • In-depth knowledge of financial accounting principles

  • Expertise in financial modeling and forecasting

  • Strong Excel skills; proficiency in other Microsoft Office applications

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • CFA, ACCA or ACA
